“The idea to start an ISACA student group at the University of Washington came to me because I saw a need at our school to create opportunities for students to see what information security professionals do in an everyday basis. I hope to develop a student organization that strives to provide opportunities for students to learn more about the art of information security outside of the classroom through professionals in the area. This field is growing at such a fast pace and the importance of understanding the security of information is becoming crucial no matter what field you may be in. Our group hopes to increase the general interest in this field and will strive to provide the best professionals to students.”
